Preparations Abound!
You see it already, lining the shelves of your local grocery store & retail shops: Easter is coming! Pastel-painted toys, candies, dresses and plush animals are announcing the holiday. Are we?
We sure are!
At New Hope teams have been planning for this great holy-day for quite some time. “Easter is one of my favorite holidays,” confessed Pastor Wayne Cordeiro. “And at New Hope it’s always a jubilant, over-the-top celebration of the most glorious victory of all time: the day Jesus conquered Satan & repaved a highway to heaven for all of us!”
Park Bound!
This year’s Easter festivities will be different from any other Easter in New Hope history: We’re taking it to the Park! “We’re excited to announce our ‘return’ to Sand Island State Park,” said Pastor Elwin Ahu, who oversees the Spirit of Aloha Ministry. “We had such a great time there for our ‘Pa‘ina in the Park’ at the end of February, that we decided to celebrate Easter there as well.”
The Park affords New Hope acres of fields for services, games, food booths & a few surprises too. (Hmmm… could there be an egg hunt in store?) So start inviting your entire ‘ohana to this Easter in the Park:
