China Children's Choir to Perform at New Hope O'ahu

On Jan. 28-29, church attendees will be in a for a treat, as the world-renown China Children's Choir of Beijing will be performing three songs at all of New Hope O'ahu's (NHO) weekend services.

The China Children's Choir was founded in 1983 and has received eight major international awards. The Choir has also gained high acclaim for its numerous worldwide performances in various countries and cities (including Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Europe and the United States).

During their visit to Hawaii this month, the China Children's Choir will be received by Gov. Neil Abercrombie at the Capitol and by Mayor Peter Carlisle at City Hall. Besides the NHO services, the China Children's Choir will be performing at Kawaiaha'o Church on Jan. 29 at 7 p.m.
