Women in the Word
Women in the Word is back in session, and a new study of "The Beatitudes" has begun. Here's what some of the ladies who attend reported: "It was nice to have a break during the holidays because we're all so busy, but I never realized how much I missed the fellowship with my sisters in Christ until we got back together on opening night. I never stopped smiling all evening. I feel so loved and supported, emotionally and spiritually, at Women in the Word."

Another added: "Me too! My husband encourages me to come every Tuesday night, because he says I'm a nicer, happier person the rest of the week."

"We start at 6:30 with fellowship over dinner, and as we're eating, we share our prayer requests and then pray for one another. Then we have a time of worship, followed by opening our workbooks and discussing the Bible lesson. We do have a little homework each week - usually around 7 or 8 questions. The questions aren't hard, but they get us to think about the scripture passage, and think about how we're doing in our walk with the Lord. I learn so much from hearing other ladies insights, and from Susie Lam's talk at the end. I always go home feeling inspired and blessed."

Women in the Word meets on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 - 8:30 pm at the Lead Center. Child care is provided for children ages 3 and up. All women are welcome, and no advanced registration is required.
