This year's DCAT conference was absolutely amazing! Over 1200 people from all over the US, Japan, South America, Switzerland, and other countries, converged at the Ihilani Resort to experience 3 days of the "Heart Behind Doing Church as a Team".

All but of few rooms at the resort were occupied by those in attendance or by staff and volunteers that made the conference possible. One of the leaders from our Sand Island Campus remarked, "It was so great seeing people I know from the different New Hope Campuses, around every corner. It felt like a 3 day retreat, and the location was terrific."

Most of those in attendance were first time visitors to Hawaii, so the open air style of the resort was a perfect setting to attend plenary sessions and breakouts, and still get a breath of fresh Hawaiian air.

Speakers from several of our New Hope Campuses shared from their hearts and their experiences on how they do church as a team. Plenary sessions were held by Pastor Wayne Cordeiro and Dr. Paul Risser. The conference ended with a wonderful performance by Point of Grace who kept the crowd on their feet, worshiping into the night.
