We Got Next! Pacific Regional conference to take place at New Hope Ministry Center
Leading a youth ministry isn’t just fun and games. Sure, youth ministries do play games and have fun, but they are so much more than that. Leading a youth ministry requires the leader to be able to connect with the youth on their level, and then lead them in the right directions. In a world that is increasingly tougher for youth to live in, it only makes things much tougher for the people mentoring the youth.
This April 26 and 27, the New Hope Ministry Center will play host to the Pacific Regional conference of the 2007 We Got Next! National Tour. The conference is produced by the Foursquare NextGen Ministries. Titled “Empowering Your Generation,” the conference will have a focus on building up the next generation of leaders.
If we don’t train leaders today, we will not have leaders tomorrow. This is the focus of the resources and attention of We Got Next! With sessions titled “Building Community,” “Building Leaders,” “Leaving a Legacy,” and “Releasing the Next Generation,” the conference looks to do just that. There are also workshops scheduled, discussing topics such as “How can Emergent Leaders reach the Next Generation,” “Social Justice and the Church,” and “Reaching the Next Generation through Worship,” and even a panel discussion.
Registration forms are available in the youth ministry office (LEAD Center), at the youth ministry table (Farrington High School Weekend Services), or you can register by calling (888) 635-4234.
