Pastor Justin Smith gathered his entire team together for a short meeting and prayer. “I don’t know what to expect,” he began, “but whether 100 people show up, or just 10 people, I’m going to give it my all.” Pastor Justin said those words shortly before the Young Adults ministry known as Pursuit began the first service of an exciting brand new season.

And while the LEAD Center wasn’t packed to the gills with people, it was definitely a night filled with the Spirit. It began with worship led by the Youth Ensemble, who also made a medley out of mainstream alternative songs into a heartfelt song for worship. Afterwards, Pastor Justin gave his message that highlighted a new vision for the new season of Pursuit: Tell, Train, Take, and Transform.

He went on to explain that just a handful of people really could affect millions. It only took five people to create MySpace.com, which now has over 154 million members worldwide. And it all started from just one idea shared by a bunch of friends.

For the next few weeks, Pastor Justin will continue sharing his vision for Pursuit. Come on Friday nights starting at 6:30 pm to be a part of the brand new vision for Pursuit.
