Growing Deeper As Single Moms

The Single Mom's Ministry helps moms discover how valuable they are to Jesus, their children and the church. We seek to provide a relationship-based ministry, helping single moms gain meaningful friendships with other single moms to foster emotional and prayer support, while encouraging and equipping each of them to fulfill their God-given assignment.
Our monthly meetings have been varied in content, with guest speakers, testimonies by moms, a spa night where the moms were treated to facials and new hairdos, a movie night with hot dogs and popcorn, and a picnic on the beach where we watched fireworks while developing a greater bond together. We are planning a camp-out for the moms and children, a home safety session, self-defense instruction, and a car repair class.
Most importantly, Christ is at the center of all our meetings. We start with prayer and worship, sometimes accompanied by the sons of our moms leading us in worship. We really are a group of single moms wanting to help each other.....God is good.
