Becoming a Member

Growing Deep, Growing Strong conjures an image of a burgeoning blossom, with the potential of bearing tremendous fruit throughout its lifetime. Our Lord has planted that seed of spirituality in all of us, with the hope that we will discover & disperse our true Christian vibrancy and the sweet nectar of Godly joy.

This is the essence of Growing Deep, Growing Strong (GDGS), a half-day seminar and membership class. Here you’ll learn the five S’s—Salvation, Spiritual Growth, Stewardship, Spiritual Gifts & Sending Forth. These make up New Hope’s simple structure. You’ll also meet key staff members.

Book yourself for the next GDGS happening on Saturday, August 23, 2008 from 8:00am to 12:00pm at the LEAD Center. Just call Arlene Iwano to register: 808-842-4242 ext. 420.

Once there, you’ll sit at a small table with maybe 4 or 6 others. You’ll meet a “shepherd” who will become like a big brother (or sister) to show you the ropes. Over the course of the morning you’ll hear short talks on the basics, then break into huddle groups to discuss. Toss in some worship & a free lunch and that’s it!
