Powerful Grace of Jesus!

Rod Shimabukuro

Scripture
He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus! The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all. Amen. Revelation 22:20-21
Observation
The conclusion of the Book of Revelation is the beginning of an eternal reign with Jesus! John captures life with God in a new heaven, earth, a new city and a new life. He also describes the largeness and magnificence of God, through judgment of the devil and the disobedient apart from Christ, establishing the completion of HIs throne and rule.

The closing sentences had to have been the icing on the cake for John to pen. These words are words of hope that I cling to. In a world that is morally, ethically, spiritually crumbling - Jesus is coming soon. The reality as a Christian is that I will need the grace of the Lord Jesus till the end.
Application
To live differently for me today is to live expectantly. Expectantly for the return of Jesus. Expectantly to live in and under the powerful grace of Jesus.

I see the grace of Jesus in a little different light today. Not only the sacrificial Lamb, obedient to the cross - but ruling as the Lamb of God who reigns! The grace of the Lord Jesus I am learning of and living under is the Person of the Lamb of God who not only died for my sins, but is powerfully ruling over every part of my life. If the details of the world is in HIs hands, the details of my life is under the powerful grace of Jesus!
Prayer
Come quickly Lord Jesus and thank you for covering me with Your powerful, ruling, overcoming grace - to live for You till the end! I love You Jesus!
