Leadership Practicum I You will be housed at a hotel in Waikiki. A shuttle will be provided during the days to transport you to the New Hope Ministry Center. Each participant will be responsible to make his own travel arrangements to and from Honolulu. The cost includes your hotel accomodations (double occupancy), most meals, valuable resources, and various entertainment events. I want to invite you to spend a week together in Hawaii! We will spend our days together taking a look at the heart and passion behind New Hope Christian Fellowship: "Doing Church as a Team." This God-inspired maxim has allowed His Spirit to move more freely within our ministry. After twenty-five years in ministry, there have been scores of lessons learned and many of them the hard way! You will choose either "wisdom" or "consequences" to be your teacher. This shadowing program allows you to learn from others' mistakes along the way without you having to experience the consequences for yourself! In this way we gain wisdom while saving years of consequences! You will be able to glean practical, take-home principles that may be applied directly to the life of your ministry. We'll discuss the vital ministry keys of developing the leadership gift, how to mobilize people into owning the ministry, and above all, how to posture yourself in order that the hand of God be upon your ministry!
