Hiding In Plain Sight


"The entire law is summed up in a single command: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' If you keep on biting and devouring each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other. So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature. For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit..." (Gal. 5:14-17).

  1. Everyone wants to be CONNECTED.
    "We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other" (Rom. 12:5).

  2. Become good at REPAIRING broken relationships.
    "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God" (Matt. 5:9).

    Two first steps:
    • Discipline yourself back to JESUS.
      "He has lost connection with the Head, from whom the whole body, supported and held together..." (Col. 2:19).

    • Ask yourself the TOUGH questions.
      "For if anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself" (Gal. 6:3).

      "You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free" (John 8:32).

  3. There's nothing as powerful as building a STRING HISTORY with people.
    "For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive what was promised" (Heb. 10:36). "Let your forbearance be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand" (Phil. 4:5 ASV).
